The course and trip were even better than I expected! Not just good but excellent!
My thermalling technique improved, good to fly in gaggles and I've hopefully removed my blinkers!
I did 22 flights and logged 20 hours. My longest flight was 4 hours 39mn!
Distances were: 68km, 59km, 39km, 24km (and many more)... My longest XC before was 25 km.

Hi Carlo
I just wanted to drop you a note to say a massive thank you for taking me flying yesterday with my mate Martin.
Ever since I can remember I have dreamt in detail about being able to fly and as a disillusioned 6 year old my world was turned upside down when my Dad explained that I would never grow wings and therefore I'd never be able to fly at will! Yesterday was as close at I know it will ever get to be able to fly at will and a dream came true so thank you for making me one incredibly happy man!
I think (to my wife's dismay) I've been bitten by paragliding and will be investigating in more detail how I can make a dream come true on a regular basis.
Carlo, you certainly paint a colourful picture of paragliding and are a wonderful advocate of the sport/hobby. Hopefully we'll see you again soon as that day out with you was totally awesome, and a day I'll never forget.
Thanks once again and maybe I'll be in contact again soon.

Nick and I want to thank you again for a very memorable experience.
Nick thoroughly enjoyed being up in the air with you and the peaceful time. He found it amazing to be flying simply by hanging in the wind and the sense of freedom, watching birds closely from above.

Just a quick note to say that the Club Pilot course you ran was absolutely fantastic.
As a senior sports instructor in another sport, I tend to look further into the way people teach and how they put across what they would like you to do - I felt that your teaching techniques where unsurpassed, with clear definite objectives that were well thought out to match the conditions. Although some other instructors where also present on the hill, it was quite evident to me that you were in a league above.
Thank you for what you managed to do for me, and know you put yourself out more in terms of time than you had to.

Dear Flybubble,
Having completed my EP and CP course with Flybubble over the last one and half years, I felt some form of feedback ought to be forthcoming.
Setting my goals on achieving a Club Pilot rating was without a doubt a daunting and exhilarating process. I can still vividly remember my first day with Nancy, trying to fathom out the spaghetti like strings and her patience and understanding were unbelievable.
The gradual drip feed of knowldege, tips and advice from Carlo, Greg and Nancy were so well timed that their relevance has shaved off years of further learning.
The actual flying demonstrations and tuition by Carlo were sublime and guidance on the purchase of equipment was fantastic.
I would like to say a very big thank you to the Flybubble team for providing such a complete and professional package. It really is no wonder that you attract students from all over England.

The training provided by the team at Flybubble was well organised, professional and great fun. Your advice on equipment has also proved invaluable and the continued help and encouragement you still give me on the hillside is much appreciated.
I asked for the course to be as quick as possible and you made every effort to oblige. I always felt that the training was conducted at a good but safe pace that suited me and built my confidence.

The idea for a paragliding trip to South America was conceived by Grita and myself whilst paragliding in Piedrahita a year ago in March 2002. During our short week in Piedrahita, it slowly dawned on us both that the only sure way in which to increase our airtime and to have fun flying, was to seriously consider an extended trip abroad in a place where a good climate, warm temperatures and a safe environment would guarantee superb flying...

Last weekend I completed my Club Pilot rating.
I would like to thank Flybubble Paragliding for their second-to-none training. In particular I would like to thank Carlo [Borsattino]. His knowledge and skill is astounding and he loves nothing more than to pass it on to nurture competent, safe pilots.
I would also like to thank Nancy for her extra-strong cups of coffee and great feedback, Greg for teaching us to ground handle like a supernatural, and Tracy for taking amazing photos which can be seen on the Flybubble site: www.flybubble.co.uk.
I'm confident I have graduated with an excellent start in the sport and I am now looking forward to a trip to Greece in April, with Flybubble of course!

I chose this course because you're ****ing brilliant top-notch fliers (and we like and trust you).
I learnt an enormous amount, far more than I expected. I learnt how to relax and feel comfortable. And as for thermalling, I felt like my technique simply took off!
The total flown was damn near 200kms with over 94km on the last two days alone!
The flying dreams have kicked in!

I had a fantastic time over the weekend and still can't believe the wonderful feeling that flying can give you, and I am just a nervous beginner!
Thank you both for Kerri's flight, again it's much appreciated. When I told her I had booked a tandem flight as a surprise, her face lit up with excitement!

Having trained with Carlo and recently passed my CP I knew this would be a good opportunity to get in some flying knowing we were in good hands. This coupled with our hosts excellent local knowledge meant we had some excellent flights in excellent conditions.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed my brief time at Algo. A great location and, I thought, a good set up all round.
My first trip to Algodonales - great area, hilly / mountainous, but with plenty of space around for relaxed outlandings. Magic Griffon Vulture thermal-markers all over the place - all served up with the usual thorough Flybubble guiding and mentoring. I will be back!
Thanks for organising it all so well - I'll look forward to the next time!

The 2003 Brazil trip is like a dream
The trip lived up perfectly to my expectations and with some bonuses!
I was impressed with Carlo's assistance and his preparatory organisation for the trip. Truly excellent.
Daily flight organisation retrievals, organisation, site and flight briefings, in-flight coaching over radio all really very good indeed!
I was truly pleased with the trip and grateful for everything you did to accomplish it.
I achieved far more actual flying than on previous trips.

The course was very well organised, and Carlo's knowledge of the area obviously paid off.
Briefing and debriefing each day at take-off was excellent and very useful indeed.
Communication in air was fantastic it worked extremely well. Carlo kept a careful eye on conditions for us, which was very reassuring.
I had ideas and dreams, but I never could have imagined what I actually achieved!
My flying just got better and better, and I found I really got into XC flying for the first time. I am excited now about going on cross country flights, not afraid of leaving the hill any more.
My thermalling skills have improved immensely!

Here is a bit of feedback for you...
First of all; I thought the pre-trip information and organisation was first rate. Everything was provided well in advance and all of your checklists were a great help to jog the memory in relation to equipment issues.
During the trip your calm reassuring way of dealing with a group of pilots with varying skills and abilities was fantastic. You managed to assist and provide feedback and advice to all of us throughout the week which was a great help and much appreciated.
The range and variety of flying sites were excellent as were the site briefings...
The airport transfers went smoothly, the hotel was good and the food was great!

Am trying to think of something to criticise but can't. Even before the trip you seemed to have everything thought of, and as for the trip its self I can't fault it.
The accomodation was nice, clean and overlooking a beach.
There was plenty of different sites to choose from and all of them had amazing views.
As for the flying I thought you did everything possible to get us up in the lift.
You were helping out on the radio when you were on the ground and finding the best areas when flying; short of you actually flying the glider for us I can't see what more you could of done.
Would recommend one of your trips to anyone.

Here's my feedback on the trip:
Pre-trip planning (communication, check-lists, etc): Thorough and helpful.
Flying sites: Good number and variety of sites within a reasonable distance. Good take-offs. From a flying perspective, I thought the area offered lots of options in terms of wind direction and thermalling and soaring sites, which increased the chances of flying.
Scenery: Beautiful up in the hills... I thought the area was good if you were going there to spend time in the mountains - flying, walking, biking, etc. The scenery was lovely, the climate was nice and it looked as if you could get away from it all if you wanted to.
Coaching: Excellent, both on the ground and in the air. Crucial on a couple of occasions for staying in the air and subsequently enjoying long flights.
Local guide: Excellent; very experienced and knowledgeable; light touch; decisive...
You and Stelios were a good combination. Stelios had the local knowledge to enable the group to maximise its chances of flying while you provided coaching on the ground and in the air which meant that I was able to stay in the air longer and improve my flying skills. I felt that the two of you working together added an extra layer of safety too. The combination worked particularly well for me at Sikourio, with Stelios getting us there... while it was good and you coaching us in the air.
I thought the area offered a lot of potential for flying and, like you, felt that we only scratched the surface.
I would certainly consider going back there again...
