Just wanted to say thank you very much for our tandem flight yesterday.
Carlo, you made us feel at ease rightaway and if you had said "Let's fly to France" we would have trusted you it would work. :-)
It was definitely worth the wait (and that hike up the hill)!
Recommendations have already been passed to family & friends.

Crispin Rose-Innes - Trips

I chose this course because you're ****ing brilliant top-notch fliers (and we like and trust you).
I learnt an enormous amount, far more than I expected. I learnt how to relax and feel comfortable. And as for thermalling, I felt like my technique simply took off!
The total flown was damn near 200kms with over 94km on the last two days alone!
The flying dreams have kicked in!

I would also like to thank Nancy for her extra-strong cups of coffee and great feedback, Greg for teaching us to ground handle like a supernatural, and Tracy for taking amazing photos which can be seen on the Flybubble site: www.flybubble.co.uk.

I'm confident I have graduated with an excellent start in the sport and I am now looking forward to a trip to Greece in April, with Flybubble of course!

Very high quality instruction thanks to the confidence bestowed on me, and the interactive choice of manoeuvres. Best level for me for the same reasons.

I learnt lots! ... turn reversals :-) ... entering spirals swiftly and easily ... exiting spirals more calmly and controlled ... thermalling ... practicing wing-overs and other glider contol excercises...

Thanks to the dedication and expert tuition of the Flybubble team, I achieved everything I set out to achieve from the course, and more. I feel a lot safer and this can only be a good thing for me, my family and the other paraglider pilots on the South Downs.

I thoroughly recommend a course with Carlo to anyone.

I decided to go with Flybubble... It didn’t take long for me to realise that I’d made a good choice.

It was clear that there was the potential to achieve a great deal.

Up to that point, I had learned that paragliding training could be rather haphazard, but this felt thorough and well-organised, which I liked.

The process was great for driving home the important points to remember.

My launching improved steadily as the week progressed.

By the end of it, I felt much more confident about flying my glider and knew that I was a much-improved, safer pilot.

Carlo’s instructions over the radio were constant. Without it, I would have been heading back to the beach for sure. I kept climbing through 10,000 ft.

I reckon I probably learned more in those few minutes than I would have done in months studying books, chatting to people on the ground and through solitary trial and error.

I felt a quiet sense of achievement. I’d done my first cross-country; touched the clouds...

I thoroughly recommend an SIV course with Carlo to anyone, particularly those pilots with low airtime. Besides the safety thing, you’ll hone all aspects of your paragliding, have a brilliant holiday and make some good friends.

I really enjoyed my time at Algo. A great location and good set up all round. All served up with the usual thorough Flybubble guiding and mentoring.

Great area; hilly / mountainous, but with plenty of space around for relaxed outlandings.

Magic Griffon Vulture thermal-markers all over the place.

Thanks for organising it all so well - I'll look forward to the next time!

PS. Care needed in the bars though. It can get a bit turbulent and I took a couple of collapses when rotored by the Cognac...

The trip lived up perfectly to my expectations and with some bonuses!

I achieved far more actual flying than on previous trips.

I was truly pleased with the trip and grateful for everything you did to accomplish it.
I was impressed with Carlo's assistance and his preparatory organisation for the trip. Truly excellent.
Daily flight organisation retrievals, organisation, site and flight briefings, in-flight coaching over radio all really very good indeed!

I had ideas and dreams, but I never could have imagined what I actually achieved!

My flying just got better and better, and I found I really got into XC flying for the first time.

My thermalling skills have improved immensely!

I am excited now about going on cross country flights, not afraid of leaving the hill any more.

The course was very well organised, and Carlo's knowledge of the area obviously paid off.

Briefing and debriefing each day at take-off was excellent and very useful indeed.

Communication in air was fantastic it worked extremely well.

Carlo kept a careful eye on conditions for us, which was very reassuring.

Your calm reassuring way of dealing with a group of pilots with varying skills and abilities was fantastic. You managed to assist and provide feedback and advice to all of us throughout the week which was a great help and much appreciated.

The pre-trip information and organisation was first rate. Everything was provided well in advance and all of your checklists were a great help to jog the memory in relation to equipment issues.
The range and variety of flying sites were excellent as were the site briefings.
The airport transfers went smoothly, the hotel was good and the food was great!
