Crispin Rose-Innes - Trips

I have learned masses. As a result of this course, I now have a much better understanding of how and why things can go wrong.

I am relieved to have discovered that my wing is in fact a very trustworthy and friendly companion!
I found it less scary than I had imagined... because of the very good radio communication.

Progression from one day to the next was a comfortable schedule.
With practice, I grew to learn, recognise and understand what to expect and so things only got better.
I now recognise these manoeuvres for what they are and with this comes a better knowledge of safety.
It was an eye opener. It was an extraordinary experience. It was valuable and I am glad to have done it.

A massive thank you for taking me flying. Ever since I can remember I have dreamt about being able to fly. Yesterday was as close as it will get. A dream came true so thank you for making me one incredibly happy man!

Carlo, you certainly paint a colourful picture of paragliding and are a wonderful advocate of the sport.

Hopefully we'll see you again soon as that day out with you was totally awesome, and a day I'll never forget.

I found the course excellent in respect of information flow. I was extremely happy with the whole experience.

Your skills in the air allowed both you to extend everyones XC flights, hence providing more airtime during which people could learn.

I bettered, then doubled my previous best XC distance and achieved 4x the XC total in three weeks that I had achieved prior to that.

The course was reassuring and excellent. The level of instruction was perfect for my skills. I liked the gradual build-up. I learnt lots. Made me feel more confident. I discovered the capabilities and cut off points of my glider.
Pre and post flight briefings and debreifings were very thoroughly given by Carlo under relaxed circumstances. He never cut time short. We could ask as many questions as we needed to. We all understood completely what was involved.

Flybubble's in-flight information and communication during the course  were a great help. Instructions were firm and direct. The quality was excellent.
Flybubble's general assistance and safety back-up during the course was of course excellent.

Thank you again for a very memorable experience. Nick thoroughly enjoyed being up in the air with you and the peaceful time. He found it amazing to be flying simply by hanging in the wind and the sense of freedom, watching birds closely from above.
You have a great way of building confidence... and made Nick and myself feel very much at ease which made it so much more enjoyable.

My tandem flight last week was a truly memorable experience - for all the right reasons. Simultaneously exhilarating and serene, it greatly exceeded my expectations.
Carlo explained everything as I helped him unpack and prepare the paraglider, which made me feel more confident and secure when we were actually in the air.
... the launch was a breeze, and I soon had an armchair seat high above Sussex.
Turning and wheeling with the sparrow-hawks and swifts, I did feel like my arms had feathers.
... Carlo's practical instructions and informative comments made me feel that I wasn't just a passenger.
It was just a breathtaking twenty minutes, and I would recommend Flybubble to anyone contemplating trying out a tandem flight.

My trip with Flybubble was an excellent, useful experience.

Invaluable advice and guidance... in theory and in practice. Superb.

Always making the extra effort to look after and retrieve us.

My longest distance so far. Brilliant. 

Cross-country experience in an easy and relaxing setting. 

I learnt  to use other pilots... not try to work everything out myself. Gliding on bar, deciding the best speed to fly. 
I was about to land, then spotted a new glider... just managing to glide to him and join his thermal.

The training provided by the team at Flybubble was well organised, professional and great fun. Your advice on equipment has also proved invaluable and the continued help and encouragement you still give me on the hillside is much appreciated.

I asked for the course to be as quick as possible and you made every effort to oblige. I always felt that the training was conducted at a good but safe pace that suited me and built my confidence. 

I have already recommended Flybubble to a number of friends and would be happy to be used as a reference for anyone considering them. 

The post-CP paragliding trip was one of the best activity holidays I have been on and I have been on quite a number. I certainly hope to join you on any future trips.

We knew that we were destined for something very remarkable! As always, Carlo came to the rescue and under his critical guidance.

Within days, we found ourselves climbing amongst vultures, reaching cloud base with ease, slowly drifting in and out of all that funny white stuff and then departing on long glides that all of us thought were far beyond our capability. As the distances covered, increased, those expensive toys came into their own. Yes, they do work and brilliantly so. 

Quite suddenly, everything we'd initially stumbled over began to make perfect sense and the open skies now belonged not only to the multitude of effortlessly circling vultures but also to each one of us as well! We thermalled ourselves silly, frequently recovering from low saves to find ourselves yet again back on top at 6,500' - 7,000'. Yelps of delight rang through the air when leaving the thermic stack, with the realisation that there was more, much, much, more, to glide to in the distant blue of far beyond. We flew on our own, we flew in gaggles, we flew with Carlo and we flew with Mark. We flew like none of us had ever flown before and this was so far beyond anything any of us had ever believed. This was pure, concentrated, overflowing, bubbly joy and the foundation for many a wild dream. It seems that flying gets just a little easier and more enjoyable when you crack the nut and begin to grasp the know, of how to. 

This was a trip where everybody in every respect, achieved their personal best. For some, total airtime was doubled and in one case tripled. The duration of flights increased to the three and four hour mark. For each of us, the cross-country distances covered, rocketed from miniscule hops over tame English fields, to massive 40, 50, 60 and 70 kilometre leaps and bounds in the cool clean air above the scorching Brazilian countryside. This was a trip that none of us would, or should have missed. Thank you Carlo and Mark - you made our days - days that mostly we shall never forget and some that were so exquisite and so exciting, they'll be impossibly hard to remember.

Harry and Hugo both really enjoyed their tandem paraglider flights and I know they would love to do the experience again. It was such a fantastic day, they both had long flights and were even able to climb up very high.
It was all incredibly well run... so definitely worth every penny!
